Different Australian Visas for Immigration to Australia

There are many different types of Australian Visas to choose from for you to immigrate in Australia and finding the right one for you is quite difficult if you're not much familiar with australian immigration information.

Knowing the various options to choose which visa is best for your personal needs is very important to help you decide what visa application to apply and for not to cost you with too much red tape or expenses. Here are some ways for you to migrate in Australia.

1. Skilled Visa

The government of Australia has launched a Skilled Migration Program to remedy the problem of skill shortages in their workforce. They have also confirmed that almost nine out of ten skilled independent visa holders gain employment within the first 6 months. This is to encourage more australian applicants to live and work in Australia. So if you're a skilled or professional person, you may qualify for an Australian Skilled Visa.

2. Employer Sponsored Visa

If you have an employer who can sponsor your expenses for your immigration to Australia, you can apply for this. Just meet the employer and employees requirements and qualifications for you to be granted with this kind of visa.

3. Visitor or Travel Visa

If you want to travel to Australia as a visitor or even on a business trip, you don't need anymore to visit an Australian diplomatic office just to process your visa application. Now, your australian visa can be processed online. Just apply for an ETA (Electronic Travel Authority) Visa. This visa will allow you to spend up to 3 months in Australia and you are free to see its great tourist hot spots. However, having an electronic visa would not allow you to work so you must need to have sufficient funds for you to cover the expenses of your trip.

4. Work Holiday Visa

Working Holiday Visa is right for you if you want to visit Australia as a tourist and at the same time have plan to work. Since Australian Visitor Visa would not allow you to work in Australia, this type of visa would be the best option to choose. This will allow you to travel around over a 12 month period, with the option of part-time or casual employment. Only applicants between 18 to 30 years old are only qualified for this visa and passport holders from approved work holiday visa countries.

There are also other australian visas that are not discussed on this article such as Business Visa, Student Visa and Family Visa. To get more of this information in detailed, please visit Australian Immigration Information.
